The Location.
This year, the camp will be conducted at the Blue Spring Scout Reserve
at Acton (Halton Hills), Ontario. The facility has some 200 acres of natural
hardwood and softwood forests, open fields, marshland, swamps and grasslands
to explore and the camp activities will tie into what this amazing location
has to offer. Blue Springs is also the 1st Canadian SCENES (Scout Centres
Of Excellence for Nature and the Environment) camp approved by the World
Scouting Organization on June 1, 2005.
